Building Systems & Codes

OBJECTIVE:

The objective of this exercise was to learn about the building systems and codes that apply to various construction types. For my building system I picked timber and designed a timber framed house.

Through this exercise I learned about the different codes necessary to ensure a structure is stable and sound etc. I also learned how buildings are made and what materials are necessary to create a sound structure.

This section is hand-drawn by me using ink pens on tracing paper and then placed into photoshop to add the text and ground fill.
