PROJECT OVERVIEW

A global financial services firm approached Gensler to redesign the 3rd floor of their campus in Bournemouth, UK.

The project was quite small with the team consisting of me and one other senior designer.

While working on the project I provided design support by selecting the finishes, assisting with furniture selection, drawing up furniture plans and assisting with the construction package, modeling the plans in Google sketchup and placing them in photoshop to create visuals for the presentation as well as collaborating with furniture system manufacturers and attending client meetings.

The scoped of work consisted of redesigning the entire floor to provide an alternative workplace strategy. The objective was to accommodate for the changing needs within their project teams as well as updating the look and feel of the space to apply to a younger workforce.

All floor plans were done in AutoCAD with the visuals being modeled in Google Sketchup and then photoshoped.
